ROSS SUTHERLAND RUGBY CLUB
Ross Sutherland Rugby Club has the largest catchment of any club in the UK, covering a landmass approximately 13,800 square miles.
We pride ourselves on being a club that is socially inclusive and responsible, friendly and welcoming; with an extended network that connects families, communities, and external organisations to our Club. However, our rural geography creates many barriers to participation in rugby – travel time, availability of public transport, higher costs than urban areas, etc. – and this was one of the main reasons we started our Community and Rugby Development initiative; if kids can’t come to us then we’ll go to them and give them the opportunity to play rugby.
We want to provide the best rugby experience we can; whether that's for a few kids at a primary school in Sutherland, or for hundreds at home in Invergordon. The same goes for senior players, our supporters, and our wider community.
To support this, we are investing over £500,000 in our facilities; doubling the size of our clubhouse, addressing accessibility issues, and providing a modern, fit for purpose facility that will benefit our club and community for decades to come.
As we move towards our Centenary Year in 2023 our investment in our new clubhouse, and Community Rugby, will help us grow to become bigger and better than we have ever been.
MY NAME'5 DODDIE FOUNDATION
The My Name'5 Doddie Foundation exists to raise funds to aid research into the causes of Motor Neuron Disease and investigate potential cures, and to make grants to individuals suffering from MND, to enable them to live as fulfilled a life as possible.

The Foundation is committed to helping improve the lives of those affected by Motor Neuron Disease. We can help through grant support. This is available to individuals and families and is administered by our friends at MND Association and MND Scotland.
